abitchofanitch:

This is the most beautiful second and a half of Disney Animation. At this point Quasimodo is being loved for his looks which is what he was told he would be hated for. This whole movie is beautiful and sadly underrated because Quasimodo didn’t get the girl, and I will protest to this day that either “Out There” or “God Help the Outcast” should have at least been nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars. I can’t help but think this film should be shown to people who suffer from depression rooting to their outward appearance. It can teach them that beauty is inward, and that even though you may not get what your heart desires, love comes in many forms and to never listen to someone who tells you that you are less than perfect.
